Alright everyone, so what we want to do here is you want to grab your allen key and inside the valve here there's a little spot where you can slide your allen key and there's a little set screw right inside there. So in this case what we had it was a pretty good example is this was all calcified inside and I had a really hard time getting this set screw loose. So obviously I wanted to loose before I go on camera but what we did is we ended up using a little bit of WD40 and just let it sit in there for a little bit. It's very very important to not break that set screw. Okay because if you break that set screw now your whole valve here you'll probably have to buy a whole new trim kit for your valve which can cost you money. So you want to make sure that yeah that that allen that little set screw inside can be removed. So whatever it takes to do if you've got to settle it let it settle with vinegar or WD40 or whatever you have to do make sure we get that set screw out nice and safely. Okay you can tell it's still a little bit calcified even after we've WD40 did. What I'll do here is I'll pull this right out and I'll also close my tub drain to make sure that the bad allen key drops is and drop in that tub drain. It's just another trip to the store they have to make to get an allen to get a set screw. So pull this right out and get the handle off just like that. You can see inside what I was
