Step 2 · Remove Existing Fixture
Remove any decorative globes or covers from the existing fixture. Unscrew the canopy that conceals the electrical connections. Carefully disconnect the wires, noting which wires are connected to which. Support the fixture while disconnecting the wires to prevent it from falling.
