Step 4 · Test and Adjust the New Fill Valve

Slowly turn the water supply back on and carefully check for any leaks around the connections. Flush the toilet several times to ensure the new fill valve functions correctly and the tank fills to the appropriate level. Adjust the float height if needed to achieve the proper water level.
