Pour approximately one cup of baking soda directly into the drain opening, making sure it goes down into the pipe. Follow this by slowly pouring one cup of white vinegar down the drain. Place the removed drain cover or a small cloth over the opening to contain the reaction and direct it down into the clog. Let this mixture sit and work for at least 30 to 60 minutes.
