Step 2 · Disconnect the Faucet's Water Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Using an adjustable wrench, carefully disconnect the supply lines from the old faucet. Place a bucket under the sink to catch any drips. If the connections are stubborn, try applying a penetrating oil like WD-40 and waiting 30 minutes before attempting again.
