Once the nut is removed, use a pair of channel-lock pliers to firmly grip the stem of the white plastic cartridge and pull it straight up and out of the faucet body. Finally, insert the Allen key into the faucet body to hook and remove the small rubber washer (seat) and the spring underneath it.
