Step 5 · Diagnose Water Inlet Issues

If the dishwasher is not filling with water, the water inlet valve may be faulty or clogged. Inspect the fill tube leading from the valve into the tub for any blockages. You can test the water inlet valve by carefully applying voltage to it (after confirming power is off and water is shut off) and listening for a click, or by checking for continuity with a multimeter if you suspect an electrical fault.
