Step 2 · Inspect and Test the Heating Elements
This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.
Using a multimeter set to measure resistance (ohms), carefully test each heating element for continuity. A reading between 10-30 ohms (common values are 12, 16, or 18 ohms) indicates a functioning element. An 'OL' (open line) reading means the element needs replacement.
