Step 3 · Remove the Old Faucet's Mounting Nuts

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Locate the mounting nuts securing the faucet to the sink (usually underneath). Use a basin wrench or adjustable wrench to remove them carefully. Different sink types may require different tools.
