Step 3 · Remove the Old Shower Valve

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Remove the old shower valve using appropriate tools, such as pliers or an adjustable wrench. Carefully loosen any retaining nuts or clips holding the valve in place. Be prepared for some water spillage.
