Step 2 · Remove Old Bathtub Faucet and Fixtures
This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.
Carefully remove the old faucet handles, spout, and drain assembly using the appropriate tools. For copper pipes, use a pipe wrench to disconnect the water supply lines from the old faucet valves. Take photos as you disassemble to aid reassembly. Remember to carefully loosen connections to avoid damage.
