Step 3 · Install New Bathtub Faucet and Fixtures

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Apply Teflon tape to the threads of your new faucet valves and install them onto the copper water supply lines using a pipe wrench. Install the new spout and drain assembly, following the manufacturer's instructions precisely. Tighten all connections securely but avoid over-tightening.
