Step 4 · Reassemble the Faucet and Test for Leaks

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully reassemble your shower faucet, reversing the steps you took during disassembly. Pay close attention to aligning all components correctly. Once reassembled, slowly turn the water supply back on, checking carefully for any leaks around the cartridge, handles, and connections. If leaks persist, re-inspect your work, ensuring a tight fit for each component.
