Step 1 · Shut Off the Water Supply

Before you begin, safety first! Locate the hot and cold water shut-off valves under your sink. Turn both valves clockwise until they stop, effectively cutting off the water supply to the faucet. Then, turn on the faucet briefly to release any remaining water pressure in the lines.
