Step 2 · Disconnect the Faucet Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Using an adjustable wrench, carefully disconnect the water supply lines from the old faucet. Place a bucket or towels underneath to catch any dripping water. Remember to note which line is hot and which is cold.
