Step 3 · Remove the Old Valve

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Remove the old valve assembly. For compression valves, use an adjustable wrench to carefully loosen and remove the nuts connecting the valve to the water supply lines. For other valve types, consult the manufacturer's instructions.
