Step 4 · Install the New Valve

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Install the new valve according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Apply plumber's putty to the base of the new valve and carefully tighten the nuts connecting it to the water supply lines.
