Step 5 · Reassemble the Shower Faucet

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Carefully reverse the steps above to reassemble the shower faucet. Replace the cartridge, retaining clip/nut, escutcheon, handles, and decorative caps. Tighten all screws and connections securely, but avoid over-tightening. Slowly turn the water supply back on, checking for any leaks around all connections.
