Step 4 · Pour Concrete Footings
Place concrete form tubes (Sonotubes) into the excavated footing holes, ensuring they are plumb and centered. Mix concrete according to the manufacturer's instructions or have ready-mix delivered. Pour the concrete into the forms, using a piece of rebar or a stick to consolidate the concrete and remove air pockets. Level the top of the concrete to the desired height, often with a slight crown to direct water away.
