Once the concrete footings have fully cured, attach appropriate post anchors (e.g., J-bolts embedded in concrete, or post bases that sit on the concrete). Ensure the anchors are centered and level. Cut the deck posts (typically 4x4 or 6x6 pressure-treated lumber) to the required height, accounting for the beam and joist assembly. Securely fasten the posts to the anchors using specified fasteners, ensuring they are plumb.
